Flux 3 Max prompt guide
Build one clear shot at a time. These templates work with the three modes available in this workspace; they are starting points, not guaranteed outcomes.
Write a shot, not a list of keywords
Name a subject, an environment and a single visible action. Then specify how the camera moves and how the scene is lit. For example, replace “cinematic car” with a description of the car moving along a wet street while the camera tracks beside it. Keep contradictory camera instructions out of the same shot.
Animate a still with restrained motion
Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP image up to 2 MB. Describe what should move and what should remain stable: the subject, camera, fabric or background. An optional end frame can guide the ending composition. Crop your references consistently and choose an aspect ratio that suits them.
Place keyframes on the timeline
Add up to 10 reference images and choose their frame positions in ascending order. At 24 frames per second, frame 24 is about one second into the clip. Keep positions within the selected duration and allow enough space between references for the intended transition.
Refine duration, sound and variation
Choose a duration from 5 to 20 seconds and a resolution of 720p or 1080p. Enable audio when you want generated sound, and describe its role in the prompt. Keep a seed when comparing prompt variations, while allowing for provider variation. Change one setting at a time so you can judge its effect.
A silver car drives slowly along a rain-soaked city street at night. The camera tracks alongside the car at street level. Neon reflections ripple across the pavement, soft cinematic lighting, gentle engine sound.Try this prompt in the homepage form
